SEEKINGLED Exhibition Archive: 24 Lighting Fairs Since 2011
Since 2011 we have taken our own booth at 24 international lighting fairs across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and South America. Below is the complete record — venue, booth number and the product generation we launched at each — followed by what that record is actually worth to a buyer placing an order in 2026.
Why an Exhibition Record Matters
Alibaba listings take an afternoon. A trade-fair history does not. To appear in a fair's printed directory and online exhibitor list, a company must submit business registration, pay for floor space, ship physical samples, staff a booth for four days and pass the organiser's own screening. Frankfurt's Light+Building alone draws roughly 2,000 exhibitors from 50-plus countries, and its organisers reject applications that cannot demonstrate manufacturing capability.
That makes an unbroken exhibition record one of the few third-party-verifiable signals a lighting buyer can check without visiting a factory. The booth number is printed in the show directory and archived on the organiser's website; the dates are public; the venue photos carry a date stamp. None of it can be produced after the fact.
The Complete Record: 24 Fairs, 2011–2024
Booth numbers are quoted as they appear in each fair's exhibitor directory. Product generations refer to the high bay, flood, street and linear families we showed at that edition.

Where We Exhibit, and Why Those Venues
The venue list is not accidental. Each fair is chosen for a specific customer base, and the mix has shifted as the explosion-proof side of the business grew.
| Fair series | Editions | Years | Customer base it reaches |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn) + Outdoor & Tech Expo | 11 | 2011–2024 | Global distributors and specifiers; Asia's largest lighting sourcing event |
| Light+Building, Frankfurt | 4 | 2014–2024 | European specifiers, electrical wholesalers, industrial end users |
| Interlight Moscow | 2 | 2013–2014 | Russia and CIS — a market where hazardous-area equipment demand remains strong |
| ADIPEC, Abu Dhabi | Oil & gas focus | 2026 | National oil companies, EPC contractors, hazardous-area equipment buyers |
| Other regional fairs (Jordan, India, Australia, Brazil, Central Asia, Guangzhou) | 7 | 2014–2024 | Regional importers and project contractors |
Product Generations, Fair by Fair
Fourteen years of booth photos trace the same arc as the factory: from a single COB high bay in 2011 to a fourteen-family range in 2024, with the explosion-proof line now carrying its own ATEX and IECEx certificates.
| Period | Generation shown | What changed technically |
|---|---|---|
| 2011–2012 | COB and SMD high bay | First LED high bays; 15 m mounting ceiling for warehouse and workshop |
| 2013–2014 | HBL series | 120 → 140 lm/W, Meanwell HLG driver, 5-year whole-lamp warranty |
| 2015–2016 | HBS round, HBG UFO | Reflector removed for cost and size; 140 lm/W; UL/DLC listings |
| 2017–2018 | GSL square low bay, STL street | UGR under 21, PC reflector optics, integrated-casting street lights |
| 2019–2023 | Five then ten new series | 150 lm/W, TUV/ENEC/CB certifications, low-glare high bays at UGR<19 |
| 2024 | H-Line / HLS linear trunking | Modular trunking systems for high-ceiling industrial and chemical-plant interiors |
| 2025–2026 | ATEX & IECEx explosion-proof families | Ex db and Ex nR certified luminaires for Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 21 and Zone 22 |
What You See at Our Booth

Two things recur across all fourteen years of booth photographs: physical samples — never catalogue printouts — and our own engineers on the stand rather than sales agents. Buyers who visit ask about beam angles, driver choice and thermal design, and they expect the person answering to have been in the factory that week.
A Short Checklist for Sourcing at Any Lighting Fair
- Ask for the booth number of their last show. Then check the organiser's exhibitor archive. It takes two minutes and screens most trading companies.
- Ask which product generation launched at which fair. A manufacturer answers with the year and the technical change; a reseller repeats marketing copy.
- Look at how samples are mounted. Working luminaires wired on the stand mean the exhibitor assembled and tested them. Laminated photos mean they did not.
- For hazardous areas, ask for the certificate number, not the certificate logo. ATEX and IECEx numbers are checkable in the official databases — for example our FL7 Zone 1 flood light and FL8 Zone 2 flood light carry their own certificate references on the product pages.
- Ask what they will not sell you. A manufacturer will refuse to quote a Zone 2 Ex nR fixture for a Zone 1 location. A reseller will quote whatever you ask for.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many exhibitions has SEEKINGLED attended?
24 international lighting fairs between October 2011 and November 2024, across Hong Kong, Frankfurt, Moscow, Amman, India, Australia, Guangzhou, Brazil and Central Asia. Eleven of those were editions of the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair and its Outdoor & Tech Expo, and four were Light+Building in Frankfurt.
How can I verify that SEEKINGLED really exhibited at these fairs?
Take any row from the table above, note the fair name, year and booth number, and search that fair's own exhibitor directory or archive. Large fairs such as Light+Building and the Hong Kong fair keep their exhibitor lists online for years. We publish the booth numbers precisely so that this check is possible without contacting us.
Does SEEKINGLED still exhibit internationally?
Yes. Our most recent confirmed show is ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi in November 2026, focused on the oil, gas and petrochemical market for our ATEX and IECEx explosion-proof range. We exhibit at two to four fairs a year, weighted towards the Middle East, South East Asia and Europe.
Is SEEKINGLED a manufacturer or a trading company?
A manufacturer. Only manufacturers can obtain QAR and QAN production quality certificates — these are issued against an audited factory quality system, not a trade licence. Our factory has 5,000 m² of floor space, two production lines, CNC, SMT and an in-house photometric laboratory, and has shipped over 1,000,000 industrial fixtures since 2010.
What does SEEKINGLED display at its booth?
Working, wired luminaires rather than photographs. Visitors can examine the flamepath and sealing construction of an Ex db enclosure, compare beam distributions, and watch a live demonstration of an emergency luminaire on battery. Our own engineers staff the booth, so technical questions about driver selection, thermal design or area classification are answered on the spot.
Can I meet SEEKINGLED at an upcoming fair or visit the factory instead?
Both are possible. To arrange a meeting at a fair, or a factory visit in Shenzhen, write to sales02@seekingled.com with your area of interest and required zones. If you cannot travel, we can arrange a live video walkthrough of the production and testing areas instead.
Checking a supplier's record before you place an order?
Send us the fair, the year and your area classification drawing. We will confirm our booth record and return a zone-matched luminaire schedule with the certificate numbers for each item.
